Between Oba of Ijesha and RCCG

In a recent news making rounds, allegations of financial corruption have been made against the traditional monarch of Ijesha land,  Adimula Oba (Dr) Gabriel Adekunle Aromolaran II in connection with RCCG

Particularly with claims that he requested RCCG to pay him some money before the church can build an educational facility in Ijesha land

Unfortunately this allegation is totally false and has no iota of truth in it. It is however important to inform the general public that the only tetiary facility owned by the RCCG outside the Redemption camp is Redeemers University which is located at Ede in Osun state. The land where the  university occupies in Ede Osun state was given to the church by the King of Ede HRH Timi Abibu Lagunju around 2007

Nonetheless, It might interest you to know that Pastor E. A. Adeboye of RCCG has a good relationship with Adimula Oba (Dr) Gabriel Adekunle Aromolaran II of Ijesha land but has never been requested to come make any payment for any facility to be built in Ijesha land

Pastor Adeboye speaks up: Explains why he chose the theme of this year's Convention

As RCCG prepares for her 67th Annual Convention, the General Overseer of the Church, Pastor E.A. Adeboye explains the reason he chose "And God Said" as the theme for the 67th Annual Convention.

Through a post made on the 11th of July on the Church's official PR instagram account @rccg_pr, the man of God as usual presented a biblical reference to back up his choice of theme, in his words

"The theme of the convention is “AND GOD SAID".
People have asked me what kind of theme is that? What was it that God said?
Well, the first time God spoke, he said "LET THERE BE LIGHT", and there was light. So, you come to this convention, darkness will leave you alone"
In the video, he further buttressed his point with Prophetic decrees when he said:

"You will be blessed,
All your fruitless efforts will be over.
Your addition will become multiplication.
Physically, you will have dominion.
Materially, you will have dominion.
Spiritually, you will have dominion.
He said you will be head, you will not be tail.
You will be above, you will not be beneath"
